Como sabran Juanito comparte su cumpleaños con su primo Alfredo, asi que les preparamos una fiesta compartida!! el viernes 16 los pirmos estaban listos y emocionados esperando a los invitados, inflaron globos, tenian premios para los juegos, y las mamas de los cumpleañeros hicieron el pastel!!
As you may know Juanito shared his party with his cousin Alfredo, so we prepare a party for two!! On friday they were ready and excited for the party, there were balloons, food and all kind of stuff. Marisol and Angelica made the birthday cake!!

La fiesta empezo y todo iba bien, hasta que los cumpleañeros se cansaron y empezaron a tener hambre y sueño... mucho sueño... la fiesta seguia, pero sin cumpleañeros..jeje.. aun asi ellos se divirtieron...
The party started and it was just fine until Juanito and Alfredo got tired and hungry, so they went to sleep...but the party kept going without them...hehehe...

El 15 de Mayo fue el cumple de juanito su primer año!!! asi que no la pasamos de fiesta. Ese dia fuimos con la abuelita Rosa y el abuelito Juan para que se tomaran una foto de estudio con los nietos, de ahi juanito y su mama se fueron con los otros abuelos y se tomaron otra foto.

May 15th was Juanito's first b-day!!! So we went with Gramma Rosa and Grampa Juan so they could take a picture of them with their grandchildren. Then Juanito went with his other grandparents to have a picture taken with them too.

Como todo fiesta, teniamos que ir a cenar, asi que nos fuimos a carl´s jr. y le compramos su primer combo jr con nugets de pollo y un super man de regalo!!1 su primer regalo!! .. la pasamos muy padre en compañia de mis suegros y unos tios de Marisol que vinieron a Monterrey especialmente al cumpleaños de juanito.
After the picture we went out to dinner. We went to Carl's Jr. and Juanito got his first Junior combo with chicken nuggets, french fries and a Superman toy!! We all had a great time celebrating Juanito's first birthday.

PooL PartY!!!

Un de los hijos de mi prima cumplio su primer año y le festejaron su dia con una pool party!! tuvo de invitados a sus primos y a juanito. todos los niños estaban de lo mas felices en el agua ya que hacia mucho calor.
Despues de eso fue la piñata, ahi ya no estaban tan contentos por que a muchos les dio miedo la piñata y mucho menos ir por los dulces, pero ahi los papas de juanito salieron al rescate, ya que nosotros corrimos por los dulces despues de que le pegaron a la piñata!!... fue divertido....

My cousin's baby boy had a pool party for his birthday!! All tha family got together and we had a blast. But the little ones had most of the fun because they were in the pool!!
After swimming for a while we had a piñata and that's when some of the little ones didn't have too much fun because they got scared. Getting the candy from the piñata was the best part. It was fun!!!

Mi hermano moroni nos aviso a mis hermanos y a mi que va a regresar a Monterrey. EL vivia en tampico por cuestiones de trabajo pero ahora regresara, la verdad es que todos estamos muy contentos por que vamos a poder estar mas tiempo con ellos y disfrutar mucho de Vanessa mi sobrina y Alissa su hermana que viene en camino, de hecho estamos emocionados por la llegada de la nueva baby.

My brother Moroni told us that he was coming back to live in Monterrey. He was living in Tampico because of his job but now he is moving back and we are so happy for them because we'll have them here with us. We'll be spending more time together specially with Vanessa (my niece) and Alyssa (my other niece who is on her way).

Ahora los mas emocionados son los primos por que tienen mucho que jugar los tres juntos, ademas los tres son del mismo mes de mayo y esperamos poder hacer una mega fiesta o almenos un pastelito!

We are excited that they are coming back but specially the kids becuase they'll be playing all together. Plus the three of them have their birthdays in May so maybe we'll throw a huge party or just a little cake.

Ultimamente Juanito le ha dado muchos sustos a su mami, ya que le da por irse a las orillas de la cama y poder medir hasta donde llegar, mientras el aprende su mamá se muere de puros sustos... la ultima vez lo dejo dormido en la cama con almohadas para que no se callera y con la tv encendida para que no se sintiera tan solo mientras ella estaba en la recámara de al lado; cuando ella llego se encontró a juanito en la orilla de la cama viendo televisión, fue tan gracioso verle la cara de susto a Marisol y mas gracioso fue el ver a Juanito atacado de la risa al ver a su mamá como corría por salvarlo... hay Juanito pórtate bien ! jejeje

These days Juanito likes to scare the socks out of his mother. He likes to crawl on our bed all the way to the edge. Marisol gets scared a lot because of that. The other day she left him asleep on the bed with pillows around so he doesn't roll and falls. The TV was on an she just went to the other room for a few minutes and when she came back guess what she found? There you have Juanito at the edge of the bed watching the TV. The funniest thing was Marisol's scared face and Juanito laughing at how his mom got scared... hahaha.

Juanito y Alfredito tienen cosas en común de hecho cada vez que ven juntas a Angélica y a Marisol con los bebes les preguntan si son gemelos.. tan parecidos son que les gustan los mismos juguetes y se pelean por el mismo juguete, quieren las mismas cosas, duermen al mismo tiempo y hasta comen al mismo tiempo!!....

Juanito and Alfredito have a lot of things in common. As a matter of fact when Marisol and Angelica go out together with the babies, people ask them if they're twins!! They are much alike and they like the same things like toys, they sleep at the same time and they eat at the same time!!

La que corta el cabello en la casa es Marisol, así que no nos podemos salvar de las tijeras de mamá!! al final nos gusta como nos deja el cabello, por que es bastante buena, tanto que nunca le dio miedo cortarle el cabello a juanito, de hecho la primera vez que se lo corto lo hizo ella sola!!
Ella es muy buena y tiene muchas cualidades.. por eso la amo tanto!!

Marisol cuts our hair and we can't escape from her scissors!! She does a pretty good job and makes us look good. She has cut Juanito's hair since the first time and she wasn't afraid of doing it. We love her so muuuuch!!

Museo del Acero en Monterrey - Steel Museum in Monterrey

Como no tuvimos vacaciones de semana santa por el trabajo, la pasamos aquí en la ciudad, así que decidimos ir al museo del acero, un museo que se encuentra en Monterrey donde antes era la fabrica de acero mas importante en el país.

Está muy padre por que tiene además de aprender uno puede jugar con lo que esta ahí en el museo, hay áreas de juegos y actividades, una de ellas es ponerte casco y tomar una pala para poder bajar a miles de kilómetros bajo la tierra para poder encontrar minerales y te bajan por un elevador... al llegar hasta la profundidad te muestran como se hacia antes y el proceso que pasaban.. por supuesto no me podía perder esto así que le dije a Marisol hay que subir al elevador, en este había puros niños de 5 hasta 10 años y Marisol, Juanito y yo..... hasta que llegamos y jugué un poco por que lo niños acaparan todo; ya de regreso mandaron primero a los adultos entre ellos nosotros, al subir la señorita nos dice como quieren subir por la manera rápida o la lenta? todos dijeron la rápida y la señorita solo abrió la puerta!!!! nunca bajamos miles de kilómetros bajo la tierra!!!! o no !!! que bueno que no era un niño el que se dio cuenta de este fraude!!! ... jejeje....

También a las afueras del museo hay un mirador muy padre y hay otro mas alto, pero como había mucho gente y teníamos poco tiempo... ya no subimos... pero caminamos por el parque de fundidora que tiene mucho para caminar al aire fresco...

We didn't get to go on vacations for spring break because I had to work. I only got one day so we decided to go to the Museum of Steel. It's a museum that it used to be a steel factory as a matter of fact the most important one in Mexico.

We liked it a lot. It has a lot of activities for kids and adults so you can learn more about the process of how they made steel. One of them you had to wear a helmet and grab a shovel, get into an elevator and go down a couple of hundred meters to shovel rocks and help to make steel. I tried it myself a little but there were a bunch of kids and I just let them do all the work. When we were on our way up, the lady there asked the people in the elevator (there weren't any children) if we wanted to go up the fast way. We said yes and she just opened the door on the other side of the elevator, that's when we realized we didn't really went down.

In the upper part of the museum there's a view deck and it has a nice view, althought we didn't get to go to the higher one. We also walked around the Fundidora park to get some fresh air.

El estar con Juanito es algo muy bonito y el vivir cada una de las etapas de crecimiento en su vida mas aun!!! ahorita esta con lo de la comida el verlo comer es divertido , por que quiere jugar y comer al mismo tiempo además de que ya quiere comer solo.

Cada vez falta menos para que cumpla un año con nosotros, estamos muy contentos con el, lo amamos mucho y procuramos demostrárselo continuamente... el también lo hace dándonos mordidas... bueno al principio eran divertido por que eran pequeñas mordiditas y te causaban ternura, pero ahora cuidado por que te avienta la mordida y hay!!! como duele, si no preguntenle a Marisol que la muerde muy seguido.

Le encanta jugar con los celulares, controles de tv, dvd, o de lo que sea pero que sea electrónico, la compu ni se diga... creo que sera igual que yo jejeje... aunque también le sale el carácter de Marisol, aunque ella diga que no, pero si ustedes lo vieran se darían cuenta de que actúa igualito a ella...

Ahorita trae de novedad el no querer su comida si no que quiere de lo que Marisol y yo comemos, también ya se para por si solo y trata de caminar, claro que nunca gateo solo se arrastra... y esta muy chistoso por que queríamos que gateara y el pobre niño nada, solo se arrastraba pecho tierra, hasta que mi mama una vez nos dijo ... pobre niño no le pidan que gatee si Juan nunca lo hizo el solo se arrastraba.... así que maldita herencia... jejeje...

A Juanito le gusta comer manzana, pera, piña, el mango es su favorito!! le encanta si por el fuera solo comería mango... de verduras come de todo ya que su mami le cocina muy rico!! mmm

Everyday we get closer to his first birthday, we are so happy to have him with us. We love him so much and we try to let hin know that. We expresses his love for us by biting us... It was so funny when he started doing that, because they were little and tender but now you better be careful when he tries to bite you, because if he gets to you. Ouch!! If you don't believe, ask Marisol. She is the one that gets most of them.

He loves to play with cellphones, tv and dvd remotes, whatever electronic device he can get. Specially the computer, he loves it... I think he'll be just like me. But he's just like Marisol in his behaving.

Now days he doesn't want to eat his food but he wants whatever Marisol and I are eating. He tries to stand up by himself and to walk also. Juanito likes to eat apple, pear, pineapple and mango. He loooves mango, he can eat all the mango in the world. He also eats vegetables because his mom cooks them really well.

Vacaciones en Cuautla - Cuautla Vacations

Marisol y Juanito se fueron de vacaciones!! si , se fueron a la tierra Santa... Cuautla, Morelos; como mis papas estan viviendo ahi pues fueron a visitar a los abuelos ademas de conocer la ciudad. estando ahi fueron a comer a los lugares que mas me gustan!! y lo malo es que no pude ir por que tenia que trabajar... pero en fin... se fueron a comer quesadillas al mercado de ozumba.

Marisol and Juanito went on vacations!! They went to the Holy Land... Cuautla, Morelos (my hometown) They went to visit my parents who live there and to get to know the place. They got to eat some delicious food!! The sad thing is that I couldn't go because I had to work. But oh well. They had some quesadillas in the Ozumba popular market.

De ahi se fueron a nadar a un balneario que se llama agua hedionda el nombre como que no llama la atencion para que sea un balneario, pero nada que ver, el agua esta muy rica ya que proviene de un ojo de agua. esta fue la primera vez que juanito se metio a nadar, al principio como que no le gusto por que el agua estaba algo fresca para el. tambien fueron al centro escolar benemerito de las americas, ya que fue el aniversario de este, que por cierto mi esposa es ex-alumna de la generacion 2001-2004.

After that they went swimming to this place called Agua Hedionda (Stinky waters) kind of funny huh? Well the water's not stinky but it comes from a spring. This was the first time Juanito had a splash!! He didn't like at first because of the cool water. They also went to the Benemerito (Church-owned High School) because they had the anniversary celebration going on. By the way, my wife graduated from there. (2001-2004)

Visitaron a gente que me conoce desde que yo tenia 4 años y me cuidaban, lo mas padre fue el que se fueron a pasear a la estacion del tren de cuautla; cuando yo tenia entre 4 y 5 años fui con mis papas y hermanos y nos tomamos una foto en uno de los vagones del tren, ahora Marisol y Juanito se pasearon en el mismo tren y en el mismo vagon del tren!

They went to visit family friends that know me since I was 4 and they took care of me. The coolest thing was the ride in the train. When I was 5 years old we went there with my parents and siblings and we took a picture of us on the stairs of the last car and now Marisol and Juanito rode in the same train and the same car!
